Thoughts after watching Once Upon a Time

This is a make up post, I just realized I didn’t post the blog last week.

A Brief introduction about Once Upon a Time

I haven’t watched this show before the class, when the professor says we are going to watch ONCE, I was thinking about the film, the Irish musical romance film written and directed by John Carney, 2007.

So for someone who’s like me, haven’t watched Once Upon a Time before, here is what it is:

According to Wikipedia, this show “is an American fairy tale dramatic television series that premiered on October 23, 2011, on ABC. The show takes place in the fictional seaside town of Storybrooke, Maine, whose residents are characters from various fairy tales transported to the “real world” town and robbed of their real memories by a powerful curse.” So basically it is a show about what you read in fairytale stories are really happening in the real world, and they are sort of connected to each other!

I watched the snow white one, and it made me thinking, is there really something called “fate” happens in real life?

Thoughts after watching Once Upon a Time

Thoughts here may be hard to follow, but I’ll explain it as details as I can.

Once upon a time I heard a theory about “history coming again and again”; which means histories are not the past, and it’s never gonna past, it’s going to be back. For instance, you may have this kind of experince before: A scene, a situation, an event, a place you have never been to and never experienced before, seems very familiar to you, and you feel like you have really experienced it and you even know what is going to happen the next. Right? I think most of people have this kind of experience in their lives. But how did it come up? A theory says that is because you experienced what you have experienced again. I know it’s a little bit hard to understand, but see like this - the world we are living in is a plane, there are few more or may be tons more planes, for example, we are living in 21st century, and what we can see and what we are experiencing on this world is happening on 21st century; but maybe in parallel space, histories are never gone, in some other spaces, 6th century is still exist, the Great Alexander is still conquering the Europe…

Let me know how do you think about the parallel space theory, and what would you think if you find out there is another YOU exist on another place, living a life that is totally different from yours?
